I wanted to create some paper that could be used as collage material for mountains. I crunched up paper then did some rubbing over concrete with white pastel chalk.
Variations on a theme
If you throw a bunch of Chinese fortune-cookie fortunes onto a Xerox machine, then airbrush the copy with a mixture of ink, paint and rubbing alcohol, then crumple the paper, then flatten it out, you end up with something like this below:
I made these pieces by dipping a large bolt in paint and rolling it around on the paper. I use this technique a lot. It makes the greatest random but regular patterns. Click on an image for a high res version.

Maybe when I’m feeling a little more creative, I’ll come back and rename these with better names, like Mango Smoothie and Cappuccino, but for now they’re unnamed.
